is anybody using dynamic cost allocation? I'm trying to implemented this feature to a client and so far I receive an error : Allocation sources or destinations did not have any expenses associated with them for the selected period. What is funny that the same error appears in the learning presentation found on LCS and the presenter doesn't bother to explain why this happened :)

Whatever account you are trying to allocate from does not have any transactions posted for the period you are running the allocation

ditto to @flynn’s comment. you need to create a vendor bill (or any other transaction) on the account matching exact source criteria and the period. Only then it will allocate
