I got an email saying I need to take the short delta for Application Developer re-certification. Is this just what the NetSuite dot Release Notes covered since last time I certified (which was the first time ever for me)? I can't find anything related to Application Developer in the NetSuite portal of MyLearn, other than material I already consumed when my former employer had a Company Learning Pass. It's strange - the email links to the Oracle portal of MyLearn (not the NetSuite portal), and then you're on your own to figure out whether there's anything there to look at, let alone whether it's going to cover the changes to NetSuite they want us to be up-to-date on. Even if I wanted to go in cold with no preparation and just take the re-cert exam, I can't find where to do that. I thought, if it's an exam, it will be in the same place as I registered for my certification exams, so I went to that WebAssessor website: http://www.webassessor.com/netsuite and looked at all the exams I can register for. Nothing about Application Developer except the original exam. No "short delta" or re-certification version. Found Oracle Cloud delta exams, but nothing about NetSuite here: https://education.oracle.com/oracle-saas-delta-exams-eligibility I also found this at https://help-education.oracle.com/apex/f?p=107:55:116504515092797::::P55_FILTER_ID:Recertification: 5) If I have completed a base exam but no longer have subscription access, will I still be able to access the content in the Delta learning path for free? You will not have access to the Delta learning path without an active cloud learning subscription. Could this mean that the re-certification is meant to be done within MyLearn, but I'm only allowed to access it if I have a Company Learning Pass? I can't really afford a Company Learning Pass just for myself. Does this mean I'm not allowed to re-certify unless I can find an employer and convince them to buy me (and just me, because they haven't needed it for anyone else at their company yet) a Company Learning Pass, just so I can keep my certification? Hopefully not, but that would explain why I can't find anything about "delta" or "re-certification" on MyLearn.

I had something similar (couldn't find suggested Delta exam) - i emailed nsgbu-certification_ww@oracle.com to ask where to find the Delta one they'd emailed me about. They came back and said it was an error during a recent update and didn't need to do anything 🙂

D'argh 🙂 Well, it's comforting to know that I'm not the only one who has once mistakenly made an auto-emailer that sent messages out in the wrong situation.
