In the sales order confirmation email template, we're showing image thumbnails for the items. Unfortunately, for matrix items it is not showing the image which appropriately matches the item options. For example, a customer bought a red shirt but the email template thumbnail pictures a blue shirt. This is confusing for the customer and is causing extra work for CSRs reassuring customers that the correct color shirt will be shipped.
SuiteAnswers refers to using item images in email templates as using "synthetic" fields. Is there a way to ensure the correct image matches what was purchased?
