Hi i have added new simple feature in execfy.ai today that will create saved searches since that a limitation if you trying to deploy saved searches using SDF https://www.loom.com/share/594aaa1e619248c4914c3769b54ed9ee
t
You already know what I have to say. TRASH.

I applaud your tenacity and for trying to do something different but I'm not sure about your SDF comment, you can include Saved Searches in SDF projects... You're not suggesting using your tool to recreate an existing SS that's in one account into a second account are you? That'd be all kinds of ridiculous. Or are you suggesting that creating a Saved Search via SDF is problematic, at which point I'd agree but say nobody does that, you create it in the UI and import the object, I'd definitely not trust any AI tool with that task. It seems like creating a solution for a problem that doesn't exist maybe?

@NElliott yeah the issue i faced is when you import saved search you have the definitions but you have to decode that and you canโ€™t create them via SDF, so this will be case where there an SDF project that will require for exemple a saved search to be created for scheduled script to read, so just to have the full automated workflow i have added suiteql to read data from custom records also but yeah i guess that make sense

You can also bundle, and in some cases use "Copy To Account", so you see, as "smart" as what you have built might be it seems a bit excessive. Also, AI has a bad habit of "sort of" getting things right but not being human good enough. With a complex search it would be easy to miss a subtle difference between what you are asking and what you have as a result. The trend these days is for anyone that builds something using AI to say "it can do anything" and in reality it might be able to... just not that well or reliably. (yet ๐Ÿ˜‰ ) I do wonder how a business stands legally if they promise a result, a person pays for that service, uses it and finds the service to have been lacking. Imagine a report used for tax reporting purposes is found to be subtly inaccurate and the business was now left with a huge tax bill. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ Kinda scary.

@NElliott Yeah the saved search tool it can be standalone my work also involves in creating integrations between 2 systems it was so helpful for me when for exemple i will need to create acumatica credit memo and i give the api documantion so it did understand all the required fields and built a search for that including formulas, i.e shipping line = F, tax line = F it has the context to prevent duplicated CM that caused by other lines, it can be improved of course by the time but also we can't execlude human verification always we need Human in the loop to verify, this meant to speed up the process for developers
n
I assume you manage the difference between accounts where features are enabled? (I'm thinking OneWorld, multi-location, bins, Pick Pack Ship, multi-currency, pricing levels/breaks, units of measure etc etc etc) Are you also pulling in custom records and fields and feeding those in?

@NElliott Yes im using it now to build a big project that will be a suiteapp in the future it includes these complex operations, and yeah it pulling in custom records and fields

I'm not feeling great about the constant ad posts across channels, particularly General. Maybe keep updates in #CFG7DNCM9 where it might be more relevant.
t
@kyle To Mark's point, should there be rules in place for these constant ads?
k
there are
@Execfy please stop with the self-promotion. keep recommendations to your offerings relevant to the conversation please.
e
@kyle yes of course is there a channel where to post the Netsuite tools ?? i just checked i found this #CFG7DNCM9 and #C05DWU284G1 is it fine to post it there ?
k
Not unsolicited. Thanks
