Has anyone had experience setting up a CNAME record with Cloudflare for use with SuiteCommerce? I'm currently working with an IT consultant who feels very strongly about using Cloudflare's proxy (Orange Cloud) feature, but this is creating a DNS error on the NetSuite domain record. The website is up and running through the proxy, but I assume the error is occurring because it cannot locate the CNAME record. From what I can tell, when 'Orange Cloud' is enabled, the CNAME record is treated like an A record. Is anyone aware of a way to properly utilize this feature with NetSuite/SuiteCommerce? Thank you, all.

the 'dns error' is just NS checking to see if the CNAME for your site matches what they think it should be. If you want to use Cloudflare then you have to point DNS to Cloudflare first, then to SC within it's settings. I've rolled out 20+ site builder sites with cloudflare and it works fine, you can just ignore the red X in the dns check

@Fourth Wave Consulting Thank you for the information. It appears that this is how they currently have Cloudflare configured. The site is up and running, however there was a concern in regards to renewing the SSL for this site because the DNS status shows an error. I understand that this error status is a result of NetSuite not being able to verify the CNAME record, but within documentation describing the new SSL renewal process in NetSuite, it mentions that there is a possibility you could experience an outage if your DNS status shows an error. This threw up a red flag for everyone involved.
