Hi! Do I need to enable something to show In Stock and out of stock messages for the item? Fields are added in fieldsets already.

I remember that I've seen it in setup some time ... Was that removed from setup?

I don't know but it's entirely possible that is just a default value that is overridden later on. I would find where the possible places where that value is consumed or changed before jumping to conclusions
