#C29J1BPM3 #C2SGFFVLG I have heard that PaceJet is one of the better shipping solutions for NetSuite (or the best). does anyone have any experience with PaceJet and if it is really the best? Also any alternatives that they like. Just need a good shipping system for UPS/FedEx and some LTL shipments. Not shipping to retail so no EDI, ASN's or GS128 labels or anything. Just regular B2B shipping and some larger orders that are over 150lbs. TIA

We used PaceJet for a few years, but did a lot more LTL. We had issues with it being a separate database to maintain items and freight class, dimensions, weights, hazardous code, etc. if you don't have a lot of mixed sized boxes/pallets it seems to work pretty well. We moved on because of the separate database maintenance that required PaceJet support and more $$$.

@Nick W. Thanks. Just to clarify you have to add and maintain all your item records in pacejet separately from NetSuite? Also what did you switch to? (If you don’t mind sharing

Yes, item records would default to certain specs if there was no record in PaceJet. And manually adding dimensions wasn't difficult, but really it was an added cost to maintain when the information was already in NetSuite. We went with using the built-in integrations for UPS, USPS, FedEx and supplemented with FedEx Ship Manager, UPS WorldShip where the built in integrations failed. LTL shipments required a custom Bill of Lading solution and working with our 7-8 carriers manually outside of NetSuite.
