Hello all, I was curious if anyone had ever ran into "An Internal Error Has Occurred" on an SCA site's homepage as a result of Google Analytics. We only get this error in FireFox and in a private browser window. I filed a support case with NetSuite and working through it with them have determined it's Google Analytics. Filing a support case with Google isn't really a thing -- just a hodge podge of forums and what not, and for something as narrow in scope as SCA, just not finding much, so thought I'd check here. Thank you!

So they narrowed it down to Google Analytics and blamed Analytics?. I'd argue that the issue most likely resides on NS implementation of GA and not in GA itself.
For example, when not able to track, just failing silently should be good for a tracker. having a "An internal error ocurred" screen is totally not. And that error message and display behavior comes from SCA not GA.

yeah, I'd tend to agree with that. i am looking into it

We had an issue with GA where there would be errors returned if a user was using an adblocker, which we fixed in 2019.2.2 https://developers.suitecommerce.com/section157590589996. I don't know the specifics of Firefox in private mode, but my guess is that they have sort of built-in analytics blocker? Perhaps you can analyse the network tab and see if Firefox is refusing to connect to Google's ad servers

The issue we experienced on chrome with GA before the subversion fix in 2019.2 was that the first CC or PDP click wouldn't actually navigate to anything after login. No internal erros though (at least not in G chrome)

thanks everyone. This is helpful. This hasn't been a super high priority -- @Kevin Potoms we haven't experienced that
