Hello! I'm trying to upgrade my non-secure domain to a secure domain, I've done all the prerequisites and have uploaded my certificate and intermediate certificate files into the SSL certificates folder. My problem is that the
Protocol
field in the Domain record is greyed out and I cannot select
Secure Domain
, thus I'm not able to select any
certificate
or
ca certificate
from their appropriate dropdown fields. Any reason why this might be the case?
k
have you tried creating a new domain record?
h
Yeah, it's also greyed out there as well. I'm in a test environment so I'm not 100% sure if that has anything to do with it
The Key Password is also autofilled for some reason
k
I've never seen that issue before. Are there secure domains setup in the environment already?
h
There's only one domain set up in NS which is the non-secure domain I'm trying to update
Tried on a different browser...still no luck 😕
k
if your domain is http I don't think the protocol will be available.. by nature http is insecure.. that's all I can think of.
h
Yeah which makes sense, but to upgrade an http domain to https you have to get all your SSL certificates, upload them to the SSL Certificates folder in NS and from there you should be able to select secure domain, hosted as secure web store, and select the certificates from there. Or am I going through this the wrong way?
k
I've never had to upgrade a domain so I am not sure
k
Tstdrive?
h
Yes
k
CAP?
h
Yep
k
Request secure domain slots from sbutcher
He can do it
h
Ok! Thank you so much!
k
It's under billing information, he knows what to do if you give him your accountid.
