Hello everyone, we have a requirement for Report scheduling and automation which means we need to schedule a custom report to run on a weekly basis. Currently, we have 65 plus subsidiaries, the finance team runs a report for each subsidiary and it is taking a lot of manual hours to run and get the data in excel format. I would like to find out if there a way to automate this manual process. I know we can create the same report for each subsidiary and use the report schedule function, but I will need to spend a good amount of time to create those reports, hence looking for some workarounds or suggestions from you. Please share any thoughts on this. Thanks in advance.

I can't think of a way to automate the creation of these reports in bulk without requiring a pretty high amount of time for customization. If the reports are very similar in nature, you might consider creating a baseline report, and make copies of that report for each subsidiary.

@NK how complex is the report data? what is it that the finance team do with the data in excel? would you consider outputting the final output rather than excel. Excel implies someone is going to spend even more manual time. moving away of Netsuite "Reports" and into SuiteAnalytics or even Saved Searches would give you more automation options. Well structured searches can be presented in nice format too.
