Is anyone else having trouble with item based promotion codes working? Sometimes they calculate and sometimes they don't, for the same item on the same day, entering orders manually?

does it work on the first one and not the second or vice versa and what are you using to filter the customers? A saved search?

No filter for customers but a saved search filter for items. The promo is setup to use unlimited. the test was for an item included in the saved search

so there is an option on the promotion record to either run the search each time, or use cached result
