So there's a couple things wrapped up in this. To show things as the xxxx : xxxx format go to Home > Set Preferences > General tab > Defaults area and unselect the "only show last subentity" option. With regards to restricting that field to projects only IIRC since this is a standard field, you're going to have to create a custom field that sources only projects and then use a workflow or script to populate the native field behind the scenes because the transaction won't work without it. The projects module is kind of the worst IMHO, nothing ever works quite the way you're hoping and there's even less customization options than a standard custom record/field has.

Same sort of thing I'd think. What's the actual use case here? Do you already have projects enabled? Advanced projects or just basic projects?

I am not sure what is enabled, But I can create the Project. My use case is to have "*Customer : JOB" together* when I create the sales order, I am not sure how I could achieve this. At this point, I can see job field separately but that is something I don't need. I need to have customer and job together as my entity field.

Is there a reason that you need to have them ENTERED together? Or is this just needed for reporting on the backend? If the latter, you could create a new field that sources the job record and that would link to the appropriate customer from the job record itself.

No I need for some debugging purpose, one of our client has that but they don't know how they configured it. We need to try that configuration at our end.

Hmmm...I would for sure start with the enable features though and see what they have going on versus what you have. But I'm not sure exactly what configuration they have, sorry! 🤷‍♂️ I worked with projects pretty extensively from 2018-2021, but haven't since then (and don't have an account with projects enabled anymore, so I can't really play around with it). It's a pretty quiet channel, but there are a few knowledgeable people in the #C30TUASAX channel if you manage to get a hold of someone.
