the source and theme development tool is conflicting

I'm sure I've gotten this to work by finding the file that specifies the port to use and just changing this to an unused port. I guess this isn't supported but may be a workaround you could use.
t
I did change the port in config.json under gulp folder of theme developers tool but it doesn't seem to load my changes that I am doing in the theme
c
look in shopping-local.ssp or checkout-local.ssp in the file cabinet. There is a port listed there as well. I got it to work in Kilimanjaro a few months back this way.
s
We didn't have extension and theme developer tools in the Kilimanjaro release 🤔
t
I’m still unable to get this resolved. Steve, are you sure about the multiple instances not supported? In 2018.2 release it was working fine and we were able to run sca source and theme developer tool simultaneously
s
I am sure that this is not supported behaviour. If you disagree, please raise a case.
t
Okay sure.
c
Sorry, I should clarify that I wasn't using the theme/extension dev tools. I made an assumption that whatever is serving the web app carried from the core sca code toolset over to the theme/extension toolset.
c
I have talked to support regarding this simultaneous developers tools behavior. They said that this won't be supported from 2019.1.
