06/04/2025, 12:40 PMHas anyone started to see the following error when downloading Excel (CSV or XLSX) files from NetSuite that begin with a [? Has anyone found a quick solution other than renaming every report and saved search? It appears to have been a Microsoft patch from May this year.

06/04/2025, 2:51 PMHow are you downloading XLSX files from NetSuite? Natively? I have a feeling it has to do with however you're importing this and not NS itself.

06/05/2025, 9:42 AMFor those that stumble across this problem, the solution is to update chrome/edge. There is a patch in this application to strip the [] characters from file names when downloading.
