Hi everyone I got an issue that when I overwrite an product image file in netsuite It's still displaying the old image in the product page, I did cache invalidation and index validation But still the issue persists Why the new images are not displayed on website If anybody had this issue before , please let me know Thanks
m
Same for me with several clients. The image file is updated in the file cabinet, but not reflected on the site. Seems that the resized images are being cached weirdly and not being cleared by a cache invalidation
c
Same here. Had one last for multiple days. I can't remember how it got resolved.
m
Might try turning CDN off on the domain if it's important and your willing to take the performance hit. That might resolve, although if that was the issue you would think the cache invalidation would work.

If there's three of you with some problem, I would recommend raising cases about it. It signals a larger problem
s
Hi @Steve Goldberg FYI, we already raised a case; now the Netsuite team is investigating this Issue And in the mail they advised to look at 'https://suiteanswers.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/44566/~/cdn-caching'
f
Can you share case number, seems like an injection to me as so many of you are having the same problem
j
I've found product images to be very aggressively cached. If I remember right, if you edit the image file and click "Generate URL Time Stamp", it should be pull the latest version

If you are experiencing this problem please create a support case and request to attach it to issue 828363
g
@Sani Has this been resolved for you? We are experiencing the same issues with image updates now. It only seems to affect the images where it contains the resize element in the URL (example-image_main-01.jpg?resizeid=1&resizeh=1234&resizew=1234)
s
Hi Gwilliams , they didnt provide a permanent fix but as a temporary solution they suggested to check the generate url time stamp checkbox on file record
g
@Sani We have tried generate URL time stamp, but that proves unsuccessful. We don't use the CDN, due to previous caching issues when using it. Thought there may have been a resolution issued already. Case creation here we come.
s
@GWilliams yeah, we are still waiting for the response from the netsuite team to resolve this issue

Issue 828363 is being actively worked on right now

Should we still create support cases and reference the issue?
s
That is up to you. It can give you a direct line into updates of the issue status, and the more cases attached to an issue, the more urgent it is ranked (but as I said, it is being actively worked on).
