Stupid question: When creating journal entries via SuiteScript, the value for
account
is an internal ID, right? No matter what internal ID I put in it's giving me errors, even though some of these accounts are for all subs. Is it expecting something other than the internal ID?
m
Yes I believe it is the internal id of the account. There are a few limitations for journals 1. Make sure the account is available for the subsidiary set on the journal 2. Accounts are limited by currency. Make sure the currency of the account matches the currency on the journal (usually bank accounts have this issue) 3. If posting an adv Intercompany journal make sure the line subsidiary, due to/from subsidiary and name all align with regard to subsidiary restrictions (if the line is marked for elimination)
