I’m trying to source a custom record, Requester Name, that only appears as a child list on the top level parent customer, on another custom record. I created a field on customers, Top Level Parent, and updated the system. It appears I’ve done something wrong on the record definition because this works for children, but not grandchildren. I know this was working before a SB refresh, and now it’s not. Any thoughts on why? I haven’t done this sort of thing in a while.

I have to check the docs every time I'm doing a custom field with sourcing or filtering. Could you get away with populating it from search results? Might be easier
