Is there a way to put an approved vendor return authorization back to pending approval? The status fields disappears after approval.

maybe edit the authorization and you can turn the status back to pending?

what are you using for approvals? workflow?

The status field disappears after approval. No customization causing that. Seems to be standard behavior.

The field could be marked inline and after it is approved it doesn't display because there is no data in the field. Importantly though there either has to be a bundle or a workflow or script running the VRMA approvals since this is not native to have an approver. And SuiteApprovals doesn't support VRMA. So chances are yes you could throw it back to pending approval but you should modify the existing approval structure to do that.
