Hello all! we have 2 sandbox accounts. The second sandbox account SB2 URL is https://3888862-sb3.app.netsuite.com/app/center/card.nl?sc=-29&whence= . Its sb3 in URL instead od sb2. Is there a way we can change it from sb3 to sb2? Please let me know if you have any inputs. Your help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

there is an option box when you do a sandbox refresh (Setup >> Company>>Sandbox Accounts)

i was thinking that also went I looked closer at the page. I just requested a sandbox refresh today and populated that field. so will see if I end up with 123456_sb1_sb2 or 123456_sb2

Yeah this is an auto-numbered thing when the sandbox is provisioned. So probably you did have an SB1 provisioned at some point (maybe during implementation) that you stopped paying for and thus got taken away by NetSuite and then asked for another one, or you started with 3 sandboxes and decided you only needed 2 later. If it makes you feel any better our current sandboxes are SB1 and SB3, which I feel like is even worse 🤣
PPS even sandboxes you don't pay for that come as part of your implementation package or a deal with your account rep because you're testing out some new module or whatever fall under the same auto-numbering scheme, so the inconsistent numbering is something I've seen on about 50% of companies I've worked at with multiple sandboxes.
