Has anyone ever used "Suiteprojects" and then later dropped it from their netsuite subscription?
The only thing we use are project tasks. No milestones, no templates, no profitability reporting or budgeting.
We are considering dropping it from our subscription

You could possibly use another record in NetSuite for this.

Yeah, that what we should have done from the start. But we have tons of project tasks already. Mostly curious whether we will still have the ability to create/edit project tasks if we get rid of suiteProjects.

I would assume not. Would have to export/import into a new record to be safe

Go to the help button on your netsuite account, choose user guides and find the guide called “Projects Guide”
This is what you can use as a replacement for OpenAir (SuiteProjects Pro). You can create your own project template model whether you want it to be T&E, fixed fee or charge based billing
