For WebStorm users: Do we know if the latest NS SDK works with the new 2025.1 from JetBrains? Inquiring minds want to know (before trying it themselves because they're in the middle of a large project)!

I'm also interested in knowing, if another brave soul test it please let us know.

"If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space." 🙂 I've upgraded to 2025.1. Already had the 2025.1 plugin installed. I've tested the following: • create new AC project, • upload files • import objects • add dependencies • validate • preview deployment • deployment (both right-click deploy, and configuration->deploy) • SuiteScript object hints It looks pretty good to me so far. Using it with my current project now. Also, if you have the JetBrains toolbox installed, they make it pretty easy to roll back to previous versions of IDEs if something doesn't work quite right.

Thanks 🙏

@Mike Robbins, what is the JetBrains toolbox? Is this a WebStorm plugin or separate product? Thanks for confirming the latest version of the WebStorm plugin works with WebStorm 2025.1.

@Keith Fetterman It's a separate JB app that manages updates to your installed IDEs. https://www.jetbrains.com/toolbox-app/ It provides instant downgrades to previous versions if the upgrade doesn't work for some reason.
When you update to the latest version, it keeps the previous version installed as well so reverting is pretty quick.

@Mike Robbins, thanks a ton. I appreciate it. I asked JetBrains about rolling back, and they said it would be difficult.

JB tools box let's you install multiple versions at the same time as well, you can have version x installed and also install version Y at the same time. Use version Y for testing new features etc..
