When I generate the demand plan using the moving average method, I set the projection interval to one month and instruct the system to calculate the demand projection based on the sales history from the past three months. Then, I want to generate the supply plan. I understand that this plan takes into account sales orders with pending deliveries, but which date does it consider from these sales orders to include them in the supply plan? For example, if I generate the supply plan for the month of April but have an open sales order dated in June, should that order be taken into account or not? And if I have an open sales order dated in February, should that also be included in the supply plan for April or not?
