One of our custom Roles has the Employee Access > Employee Public permission, which the NetSuite Help documentation says should be able to view the Supervisor field on Employee records. However, when using this role, the Supervisor field either does not appear or comes up empty in saved searches, as if it is not accessible. How do I fix this role so it can see the joined Employee : Supervisor or the joined Sales Rep : Supervisor field on a saved Expense search? Solved: Added List > Employee Record > View permission to the Role.
Actually that's not a solution because the person in charge does not want to give access to employee records in general (probably too easy to miss something when setting up the advanced permissions). So how do I find out the Supervisor, the Expense Approver, or the name on one of the Approvals listed in the Related Records tab?
