Hi All, Is anyone else receiving "Not Allowed, Sorry! You have no permission to view this page." error when trying to view the cart on SCA?
s
In the Network tab of the developer tools, which service is returning an error? It's probably either the Product Reviews or Product Lists service
g
We have applied the patches earlier this week
s
Let me know which service is not working properly
g
There are no errors showing in the Network tab
s
Care to share a link with me?
g
it seems to work for one customer account but not for my colleague
s
Is one of them logged in and the other logged out?
g
both logged in. You cannot access the cart without a login
s
Same customer roles?
g
same customer role of Web Store Customer
s
OK, and when you applied the patch, did you also do the configuration changes to custom records and custom roles in NetSuite as well?
g
Yes, the custom records in the patches - customrecord_ns_pr_review, customrecord_ns_pr_attribute_rating, customrecord_ns_pr_image, customrecord_ns_pl_productlist and customrecord_ns_pl_productlistitem
and changes to SC Product Lists role
s
OK, final thoughts before I basically say to open a support case
Check this:
• Go to Setup > Users/Roles > Manage Roles • Select SC Product Review Role • Go to Edit > Permissions > Lists ◦ Add Custom Record Entries: Edit • Save
Sometimes the custom roles haven't been set up properly
The other is to do with cookies – if you have made the changes very recently then the customer's session could not have been updated properly. So you could advise them to delete all the cookies for your site and try again
g
OK I will check on these. I have opened a case with NetSuite, but thought I would chance my luck on here while waiting for a response
Thanks Steve

I've had this issue before, though it was during the checkout phase, not opening the cart. It was due to the Role Permissions of the Customer Center account. We corrected it by matching the permissions of our custom customer center role to that of the default Customer Center.
t
this is happening to me in sandbox in Suitecommerce standard 2024.2.30 using the standard customer center role
we have a case with NS open
g
We also have a case open. It seems to be linked to insufficient permissions with ProductList.Service.ss. The patch was checked with NS Support and all was correct. They are still investigating the issue while we are looking into our custom extensions.

fyi I just started getting this in another account SCA 2024.2.30 using the standard customer center role. I think the issue is on in this version because even a 1 or two versions ago it was fine and the patch is applied correctly
nvm it seems like the custom record permissions weren't applied correctly
