When posting to shopify from Celigo. If i set "published_scope": "web" or "published_scope": "global" it works as expected but how can I set it so that the product is only in POS channel?

AI generated answer (using internal Slack threads):
In order to set a product to be only in the POS channel when posting to Shopify from Celigo, you would need to set the "published_scope" to "global". However, this will also make the product available on the web. Unfortunately, Shopify does not currently support a "published_scope" that is exclusive to the POS channel. The "published_scope" field in Shopify determines where the product is published. The options are "web", "global", or "null". If you set it to "web", the product is published to the Online Store sales channel but not visible on POS. If you set it to "global", the product is published to both the Online Store sales channel and the POS. If you set it to "null", the product is not published to any sales channel. Therefore, if you want a product to be only available in the POS channel, you would need to manually manage this within Shopify after the product has been created. You can do this by going to the product's details page in Shopify, scrolling down to the "Product availability" section, and unchecking the "Online Store" option. ****** Disclaimer: This response was generated by an artificial intelligence assistant based on previous conversations from multiple Slack channels, and may contain inaccuracies or mistakes. ******

Hey, Si. Are you working with the Prebuilt Integration App Product Flow or is this a Platform flow?
s
Debugging a custom one in this case.
j
Ah, OK. The prebuilt flow has a new setting for Published_Scope and the mappings are not available to customers, since it is handled via a script. This allows customers to select the product visibility from the NetSuite Item record and publish to Shopofy Product. If you need me to dig into the GraphQL Mutation more, please let me know.

Thanks James! We're rolling out Shopify POS this week to replace Revel POS, and we are changing our Subscriptions strategy (Stop Netsuite pushing to Shopify). After it gets stable we'll evaluate next steps... we'll have dropped dozens of custom buggy syncs at that point.
So i'm just doing micro-surgery on the syncs i don't really want to touch yet 😛
