Does NetSuite have a bank feed similar to QBs bank feed?
m
Hey Aaron, Matt from FISPAN here 👋 There’s a few options for bank feeds in NetSuite: 1. Bank Feeds SuiteApp: uses screen-scraping via Yodlee to grab transactions from your bank. Need to provide your online banking credentials to Yodlee to establish the connection, and according to other NetSuite users, this connectivity type is prone to breaking 2. ABSI: Requires you to build/format a SFTP connection with the bank and manage the connectivity certificates etc. 3. fispan FISPAN: bank feeds connectivity that is pre-built and fully managed by FISPAN as a partner with 11 top banks (and more coming soon). FISPAN also provides embedded visibility into your account balances/transactions directly within NetSuite and other embedded banking capabilities. Let me know if you have any questions!

Thank you for the reply Matt. I am familiar with FISPAN. Unfortunately the client I have is moving a small subsidiary into NS and the bank they are using is not a FISPAN bank. Also, the subsidiary is small so the client does not want to incur any add on expenses to their current NetSuite instance.

Ahh understood! Do you mind if I ask which bank?
I hope the other information I provided is helpful though! ☺️

I do mind. Believe me the bank is a small bank not in FISPAN. Besides the client does not want to incur any add on expenses. No matter how small. Thanks.

No problem 😊

Thanks again. You may be the right fit for a future client. If so, I'll look you up.😉

@Aaron Seafous I believe the bank feeds suiteapp does not cost anything.
Your only cost may be to setup a sftp feed from the bank but it works pretty well.

Thank you PF. I will look into this approach.

and there is a bai2 parser suiteapp available too

use the ABSI + Bank statement parser suite app via SFTP - most stable option for bank statement option. Bank Feed by Yodlee and Salt Edge (EU and UK) is clunky and breaks down quite often.
