We need to add a field to a custom record where the field is a multi-select of Employee Group (groups that you’d find at Lists-&gt;Relationships-&gt;Groups, filtered by  type = Employee).  I can make the field with type `Entity Group` (`Group` is not there as an option when selecting what type of List/Record) which gives me ALL groups in the dropdown.  If I try adding a Filter for the field where Type is Employee, now there are NO groups in the drop-down.  I’m testing as Admin.  Thoughts?

You might need to add a UE script before load on edit / create to add a custom field and populate the options dynamically.
You'd then punt the selected option(s) to the "real" field before submit.

hoping to avoid that, it feels like a fairly straightforward thing that should not require scripting.

Ugh, the rep assigned to my case doesn’t know that Groups are a thing.  They are like “we need to log into your QA account to see this customization”.

They also don’t believe that I am an authorized contact, despite the fact that I’ve been submitting 99% of our tickets for the past 8 years.

Not exactly reassuring, maybe ask for someone that knows what they are doing? :man-facepalming::skin-tone-2:
