Hello Friends,
What are people doing to offer reporting on a fully exploded bill of materials in an instance using advanced bill of materials? I know its always been a struggle and have many, many ideas of how to overcome but wanted to see what others were doing as well.
Thanks!

One thing we recently did is add fields to the revision record (ie: last updated) since changes to revision record line data doesn't have history.

Best option is to build a suitelet if you’ve got development resources available. Some of the out of the box reporting isn’t great
Alternatively I have built one using a suite analytics dataset but it times out after 6 levels of sub assembly
You can also try creating a dummy work order for qty 1 of the assembly to view/print/report on

Have you tried Costed Bill of Material SuiteApp?

@MGBC I'd be interested in seeing how you did the dataset - I have never been able to peer past the first level.

@Suitestallion I have but i really want flexibility to report as needed. The suiteapp is good but no possibility of adding columns or criteria or exploding sales order or demand plan assemblies.
