any reason I cannot find the correct FieldID: quantity in a saved search? I've tried everything and it won't spit out the built quantity per assembly

Try the field "Built"  - I found that {quantity} is the number ordered (ie, to be built), and "built" returned the number actually built. Symantec difference, but it tripped me up last week and that was my solution.

Oh and the other tidbit -- Make sure "Main Line" = true.
