I have created a "TRASH" bin at one of our Plants. The idea is to move anything lost/expired to this location and go through it at a later date. Is there any settings to the BIN I can do to make the inventory not usable? Basically take it out of useable stock?

You can do this at the location level or by using Inventory Statuses, but not at a bin level. Are you using any WMS solution?
