Anyone have a formula to get the time a pick task took from start to finish?

I was given a formula from support, but it only works when pick task starts and ends the same day. We had issues when a pick task was started in the evening and finished in the morning and messed up our reporting. Negative numbers. Support had no fix.

i got it working and if you used dates plus 24 hour format would that resolve the error?

at that point we really weren't sure the data was useful. if the task is over 8 hours, there was obviously a problem, as our tasks shouldn't take more than an hour. Due to the variability of our pick tasks and items, we couldn't really justify what the data could how us.
