Does any use Paystand with Sales Orders for payment? We are being told that we need an SOW and 30 days time to be able to take payments via sales order, but earlier had been told it was a standard feature, so we are confused.

@Aaron McCausland are you familiar with this ? I remember you mentioned that you use Paystand before. does it sound about right ?

I wasn't there when PayStand was installed/implemented on our NetSuite account, but ours didn't come with the ability to add a Pay Now button for Sales Orders in SuiteCommerce MyAccount, only Invoices. However, it DID have a couple of buttons on the Sales Order in the regular NetSuite UI for, for example, sending an email with the Pay Now button in its content, and when the recipient clicked on it, it would attribute their payment to the Sales Order. By the time I'd gotten to it, some customization beyond the normal PayStand install had already been done, though, so I don't know if it's a standard feature. I didn't really have anything to do with the install. I just fiddled with it to get it to put a Pay Now button in more places in SuiteCommerce than it normally does.

Thanks. Yes, we are just not sure what is standard or not. Their documentation says that we can accept payments from Quotes or Estimates that will automatically generate a Sales Order, and if we have to go that route we will, but there's really no need for a Quote or Estimate, as this is something customers have already agreed to pay, we just don't want to impose a due date or collections on it as an Invoice would, as they are free to take their time before they are ready to pay for their new service
So we asked if we could just directly use a Sales Order, and they said yes, but then came back to us with an SOW and said it will take 30 days. The fee they are asking is for is minimal, we don't mind that part, but the 30 day wait seems really unfortunate
