Hey all, ASSEMBLY ITEM QUESTION: I am having a problem where I cannot use an assembly as a sub assembly on my BOM revision and I cannot figure out why. These are both Lot Numbered Assemblies with BOM revisions attached. I want to use ASSM1 as a SUB assembly of ASSM2 and when looking at the Components of Rev 1 of ASSM2 no assembly items are available. Any ideas? I did also post this to the manufacturing group

Hi @Sean Murphy on the BOM page for ASSM1 do you have it set as "Available for All Assemblies" or Restricted to Assembly "ASSM2"? Similarly do you have it set to be "Available for All Locations" or restricted to the Location where ASSM2 exists?

Both valid questions. I have both Assemblies available in the same location (only that one) and both have their boms set to only available for that one assembly. I don't have them available to all. Do you think I should?

You could try that just to see if it works. If it does work, there's some issue with that restriction setting. If it doesn't work, something else is still going on. I'd try it though just as a starting point.
