Who else is using CloudFlare and reeling from today's notice: "*Required Reconfiguration of Your Domain’s DNS Setup*" ? It states that if I don't "properly configure" my primary domain (which is proxied through CloudFlare, as it has been since 2018) that on March 20th I can expect the traffic to my domain to be blocked (yes blocked), as a test for the final May deadline. My company relies heavily on some of the features and benefits of CloudFlare -- things NetSuite simply doesn't do. I don't understand the motivation of this directive, and I'm hoping others will push back on this mandate. Are you affected too?

We are in the same situation as well. We have been receiving DNS notification updates from NetSuite over the past week. This puts us in a very difficult position since we are using a Site Builder account. Our developer suggested reaching out to our NetSuite account manager to request a rollback of the update. So far, I haven’t heard back yet. please share your thoughts

Yes, we too are a SiteBuilder account. I would urge you to file a support ticket with a complaint. I have received feedback that they are looking into requests to delay/stay this decision. I fed them the many reasons why CloudFlare is a necessity for our site, and how we're an Ecommerce business. Taking away CF proxy services will be slowing my site down, and introducing opportunities for DOS/botnet attacks, and other issues. You should take a strong stance, and encourage as many other site admins as you know to do the same. NetSuite can't provide the services CF does, and there's no real technical reason for them to "block" traffic because of CloudFlare or any other domain proxy service. Keep me posted as to how it goes on your side!

Thanks Dan! agreed 100%. We did raised concerns to NS. this really forcing SB users into a tough spot.
do you know how many active site builder users out there? 300?

A very delayed, response - My apologies. I do not know how many Site Builder users there are. I am still fighting with NetSuite Support to provide assurance that they will not "block" our traffic on March 20th.... just 10 days away now.
Update: Today I was given an exemption from the 3/20 Test Window, which is set to start blocking domain traffic in just 2 days. Apparently this test won't affect my account. Now the next hurdle is the final deadline of 5/15/2025, when NetSuite is still claiming to block all domains that aren't directly configured to NS DNS servers. I plan to fight this as I really do need CloudFlare for too many reasons to list.
