Folks who have done the Netsuite.com>Netsuite2.com migration, how did you deal with Top Level Parent ID no longer being available on Customer records. I found some SA article with a formula using altname, not realizing that formula just gives you the Top Level Parent name, which is mostly useless since I need the Top Level Parent Int ID. Best way I can think of right now is a big ugly CASE statement that keeps working its way up the customer hierarchy until it finds Parent ID=Internal ID.
Actually nvm it looks like the Parent field is actually null now in ns2.

Does this affect saved searches or only ODBC?

Only ODBC. Though I assume the same thing would be present (or not present) in Workbooks too since I think they have the same data structure.

Looks like
toplevelparent
is available on entity table

Sure enough, you're right @michoel thanks. Why they have it in that table and not in Customer makes no sense to me, but at least it's there I guess

The way contacts are related to the company table seems to have changed as well. We are pretty much only using the entity table now. Not sure about the rest of you - but this has been a long frustrating process for us.

Oh definitely @Jeanine Scott I'm right there with you. It's already been painful and we're just really getting into it.
