I should probably know that, but I don't. We are entering an order and after saving we have a Shipping Cost. How's the Shipping Cost are calculated ?

1- Check the shipping item 2- check the item record if there is a default shipping cost set

I see a Default Shipping Method Where can I see the "rate" ?

Search for Shipping Items in global search where you will find the shipping methods. See if this method has a flat rate set up.

I'm looking at the shipping item and there's no flat rate, by weight, but item default charge. I guess it's calculated from somewhere else

Do you know if you are using integrated shipping carriers? Thats the only thing I can think of if default flat rates are not set. OR probably some script or WF could be populating it.

if they arent using an integration, then there is no shipping incorporated natively. Ive had clients create an other charge item for the shipping cost and add it to the line level of the order to track.
