HI team, I’m working with a client that’s already using NetSuite ERP with Avalara setup for taxes. We’ll be developing their SuiteCommerce store next, is there anything we should consider related to Avalara or would the tax behaviour follow their settings for the webstore?

You should be fine, it is exactly as you have stated. The only step is to setup the Processing Payment Profile but that is a setting not customization .

You are right on that, thanks, @Santiago. I found doc’s that that confirm what you said, but they brought me a new question. Looking at this page, it says:

PER-LINE TAXES ON TRANSACTIONS must be enabled in the Accounting settings.

The thing is that, the client’s been working for years without that enabled and has some heavy customizations on the ERP side. Is the setting above actually required for Avalara to work with SuiteCommerce?
