@Seth_at_TBMBM today is the test window for the HMAC-SHA1 deprecation. You may have one or more integrations using that, the solution would be to upgrade to using HMAC-SHA256 signing for your Token-based authentication. As of the 2021.2 release Netsuite will cease to accept HMAC-SHA1 entirely.

@scottvonduhn do you know if the windows was communicated through email or how?

It was communicated through email, but not to everyone. In fact, only our head of payables received the email, not even our Administrator, so I’m not sure how Netsuite decides who to send it to.

I let NS have a piece of my mind last week for the short notice and poor communication of this test window. Not that it did any good, but wanted them to know it’s a terrible way to treat valuable customers.

We did receive an email about the test window but was sent to my boss who is on holidays. All good now, just needed to change our integrations to use SHA256 which was trivia as the library we use supported it. just needed to change a flag
