Hi, I have created an extension that is working correctly but when the user first navigates to it they are shown an internal error briefly and then the actual page loads. The only error is shown in the console and it is being triggered by “customdeploy_ns_sc_sl_blog_entity_loader”. The extension page has nothing to do with the blog and there is no call to it anywhere. Any idea why this is being thrown?
s
SC or SCA? What version? Have you applied the 'lazy loading' patches we recommended a little while ago? https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/netsuite/ns-online-help/section_1008023120.html#subsect_1008024248
c
Its SCA 24.1. I had added the CUSTOMRECORD_SC_BLOG_PAGE_TYPE_POST to lazy loading through the config. I see those changes are only upto 2023.2 is it still worth trying them?
s
We replaced the lazy loading config so that it always lazy loads. If you are on 24.1 then you won't need to do it and you shouldn't even see an option for it in the config record
24.1.2 specifically – which version specifically are you using?
c
Sorry I meant I had added it in the website configuration in the back end NS. It is running 2024.1.2
s
I understand but it shouldn't show in the config as of 24.1.2 as it was removed
Anyway
The short answer is I don't know. If you're running 24.1.2 then I would expect things to be working smoothly – if you take a look at the docs, there's a bit at the end about setting permissions. Can you make sure that that's correct on your account?
c
Yeah its set to be Store Manager and run without login
Do you think its worth raising a case around this? I feel they may push back because its customisation
s
If you deactivate your extension then does the error go away?
And yeah, they might, I find it strange that your customisation interferes with the blog extension though
c
The extension is registering the page so if i deactivate I wont be able to navigate to the page. Yeah like I said the extension has nothing to do with the blog so not even sure why its trying to call it
s
Can you share your site URL?
c
https://maxasb.eurekasuiteapps.com/ Issue is happening when you use the find parts extension
s
So the error occurs when I visit https://maxasb.eurekasuiteapps.com/blog
It is unrelated to the extension. The blog extension is the problem.
I return to my original point: I think you need to go through the patch docs I listed and apply them
Your site is running 2024.1.0 not 2024.1.2
So it will not have the fix applied
c
Ah ok. I will go through the docs and see if that sorts it
s
👍🏻

Cheers
Hi Steve, I have added in the suggested fix and still get the same error. Can you think of anything else we could try?
s
I don't, I'm afraid
Actually, we just published this note and I see it's not included in the patch notes I sent you: https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/netsuite/ns-online-help/section_73141658131.html#subsect_0910103241
