I am getting to the point at my company where we are going to start integrating work stations out on the floor to fulfill orders and move inventory. I am familiar with Zebra TC hand scanners and Client Desktop PCs but wanted to ask for recommendations from people who are already using tech on the shop floor

You should look at RF-SMART as they are a NetSuite partner and have a lot of hardware options and can provide guidance. Not sure if you will also be using a WMS or native NetSuite but they can help there too if needed.

I plan on going into RF Smart but that is more mobile based yeah? No native app for PC?

It’s client based so it runs on PC or mobile apps and emulates both ways. They can help with wedge scanners for the PC or actual mobile device units.

You have a couple options a fully mobile unit that displays the UI that you are interacting with a built in scanner or just a wedge scanner which can scan the barcode and populate it back to a pc. Generally you see a wedge scanner for shipping and then a fully mobile device like a Honeywell or zebra device for WMS operations.
