how can I ensure that employees /users do  not overtransfer and put the inventory into negative

1. Search and Install the NetSuite made Bundle "Enhanced Validations and Defaulting"
2. Once installed, go to Setup&gt; Company&gt; General Preferences and click on the Subtab "Custom Preferences".
3. Look for the Enhanced Validation &amp; Defaulting section.
4. Click the checkbox to prevent Negative Inventory


will this prevent negative inventory on transfers or orders or both?

we installed but stil made inventory transfer

Sorry forgot the most important step

Lists &gt; Enhanced Validations &gt; Enable Validations &gt; New
and then the Type make "Negative Inventory Validation" and at the bottom select the transactions this will effect. For me I selected all and then Save and that's it. Sorry again about the last part

*Transactions with Validation/Default Discount*  seem to list transfer order but not inventory transfer  , that is what we really need

this doesnt work for inv transfer only transfer order and cash sale , so still on fence on it
