When an Opportunity closes (Won), what record(s) or field(s) will tell us the final dollar amount that the opportunity closed on? I see a Projected Total, but that's often different (conceptually to me at least) from what would wind up on their first Sales Order for example. I'm not sure where I should be looking.
Just for example with boilerplate numbers, the lead may have started out looking like they were going to go for a $90,000 deal with us, but after negotiating contract, then it wound up being $30,000 or even $120,000.
So we need to know that other actual value that was settled on, instead of the projected one. Where do we tell our integrated third party systems to look for that? Is it even stored in a field the integration can query or is it going to need to calculate that on its own? If so, then what data will it need to make that calculation, from which fields on which related records?
