Hi All, Is it possible to add a custom record to the location record as a sublist? In the 'List by' dropdown, the 'Location' field the RECOR IS PARENT option is disabled, so I cannot check that checkbox. Is there any alternative way to accomplish this?

You can add the location field to your custom record
Then build a saved search and make it as a Sublist
Then apply the Sublist to the location record on a subtab

You can use an inline html field to replicate the “new custom record” button
And add an html formula to the saved search to mimic the View/Edit links of Sublist 

Thanks <@U03GYQZTZDW>. But this will add the sublist to the custom record right but in my case I need to add the sublist to the location record.

No this was intended to add a sublist to the location record,....but that might be a limitation of netsuite

You can create an inline HTML field that displays the saved search as an embeded wepage so it would mimic the look of the sublist
