Does anyone have any recommendations on best practices for which role to assign to an external consultant? I know this is a vague question, but trying to see if most people just tailor a custom role in these situations.

I used to work with "Full Access" role but it is not available anymore. So now I ask for Administrator role. I have tried working with non-admin roles but it was very difficult to do so. I had to ask the client to add permissions multiple times. I am a technical consultant. May be it is different for functional consultant.
