Hello, how can I set a percentage value in a field through the soap api?

I have no idea, but the obvious options would be. e.g. 17%

1. `17`
2. `0.17`
3. `17%`
did you try each of these did they all fail? did you get error messages?

we get a number format exception when we try 17%

yeah that was the least likely option, percentage fields are a NS datatype that would be like specifying the datatypes on other fields `100Number`  `CustomerNameString`

its probably just the number and NS handles the % part
