Hi Does anyone know how to add sublist values to a custom list

you mean saved search result values in a list drop down option? I dont think you can, but you can add the same filter as of your search in the custom field which has list values.

You should go to customization->Lists and find your custom List. It could be Locked, so you will not be able to add new values.
