Does anyone know if the Demand Planning modules integrates with the Time-Off Management / Work Calendar feature? Is it possible to block out dates such as Chinese New Year?

From the release 2024.2 the Supply Planning Engine, the one used by MRP and Supply Planning, do consider the Work Calendar (not the HR related Time-Off Management, only the Work Calendar). Indeed, it uses the work calendar from your perspective and not the one of your suppliers: it will consider the work calendar assigned to the location (keep in mind to flag in the location record the checkbox “use work calendar for purchase orders” and eventually “use work calendar for work orders”, if relevant for you) to avoid the not available days in your warehouse/plant. It won’t consider any calendar from your supplier perspective. So, if your need is to consider a closing period of your supplier due to Chinese New Year, there’s no way to include it into the MRP/Supply Planning calculations, at least not currently. Keep in mind that even if in the vendor record you can see a “work calendar” field, this is relevant only from the project resource perspective (if your vendor can be used in a project, if you have the SuiteProject/Project management modules)
