Hello! Working on inventory management, and using a third party vendor to manage bins/inventory moving forward. Currently unable to create SOs due to lack of bin quantity on the item, would migrating the items to a new warehouse that does not use bins solve for this?

what do you mean 3rd party vendor a 3pl?

If you're going to use Inventory Transfer or Transfer Order, you still would be able to do that because of lack of available quantity. If it's not urgent, you may want to fix the root cause which is quantities not yet put in a bin, miscoded transactions, missing inventory-adding transactions such as Item Receipts, etc.

With our 3pl locations, there is a single, default bin that all stock in that location is in.

Lack of quantity in Bin shouldn't be problem for creating SO. Bin is required at the fulfillment stage
