Government spending for healthcare per capita in US is $12530 for 2020 not counting private expenditures. By comparison in Canada it is $6300 (2021), UK $4653 (2019) and France is $4690. US has the highest healthcare spending among all the OECD countries and people have worst healthcare. All these countries considers healthcare as the basic right but not in the US.
