I just learned what "nonce" meant in british slang. Makes talking about calculating a nonce in postman and scripting kinda weird now.

It's a sort of 50/50 dicey word to use over here these days really. You'd have to be quite clear on the context. Then again a lot of dodgy slurs are still casually thrown around here anyways...
